I got this to inflate my camping air mattress and so far it works quite well. The first thing that you'll notice about the unit is how small it is. It measures only 6in x 6in x 3in. The unit does an OK job of filling up the mattress although it doesn't have enough power to get the mattress super full. But sufficient none the less. The cords for recharging the unit are contained within a compartment on the unit but unfortunately, the attachments are not. The unit charges both on AC and the included car adapter which is the main reason I bought this item. The manual also indicates that it will work while charging on 12V.

It's by no means a toy. Anyway, day one-opened box and confused about plugs. Oh wow, the ac and the dc are both built into the unit. Cool. Plugged in for about 10 hours on ac and aired up our raft. So far so good. We'll see how well it works in a year or two as the Coleman one we bought two years ago only worked like 3 times and it was dead after that. Wanted something made better so we'll see how this stands up. Let charge overnite and worked fine. Aired up raft quickly. Also used to air up dog bed air mattress. They say to charge everyonce in a while even if you don't use it or it won't hold a charge like other items I have.

I have had this pump for 4 years and always works great on all our inflatables. Good pressure makes the tubes hard, easy to change adaptors, and can fill 3 or 4 large inflatables in a row without getting to hot. The other review with 1 star I would guess is because they didn't know what they were doing. You hook the hose up to either the inflate or deflate connector. It's not difficult at all so don't be scared by the bad review. If I based the review in this price category I would give 5 stars but since there are some better pumps out there even though they are twice the price I gave it 4 stars. I would buy again if I ever had a problem.

I've used this pump for two summers with no issues. It was purchased initially to inflate a larger children's pool and it does so very well. What used to take me close to an hour by hand pump now takes less than 5 minutes and very little effort. I also use the pump to inflate an O'Brien Le Tube and it makes short work of that is well.
When I made the purchase I was hoping for some improvement - this pump works better than I expected.

This pump is great. In the past I have used a tire pump to fill up the outdoor pool and inner tubes as well as other toys. It always seemed to take forever! This pump works fast and has a large nozzle so that the air can fill up the toys faster. I suppose educationally you could talk about inflate and deflate- it also deflate but I haven't tried that yet! It seems durable and the nozzles are all attached so they can't get lost.
