It is as quick and easy to set up as I expected. Just let it pop up, blow a little air (it doesn't take much) and I'm done.My kids like to sit in the mesh as if this is a boat. Because of that, the mesh quickly started coming apart at the bottom seam. It's easy to sew up. Just beware that the mesh is not meant to bear the full weight of < 50 lb. children. I like the papasan, but sitting up in it requires I actually sit up. Any attempt to lean back renders me flat on my back, although that position can be quite comfortable. It's like floating in an inner tube, but I'm more submerged in the water. I'm 130 lbs., 5'5". This chair fits me well. My brother is 5'10". I don't know how much he weighs, but he has a muscular build. He was a little too tall or big to lay in it comfortably and for some reason, he kept tilting to one side when... This lets you sit a bit lower in the water. I prefer it on hotter days when you want to be more in the water than with the recliner. The papasan is easier to store and inflate though since it is a simpler design.
